Eden Jacobson’s developed background in dance, movement, and body awareness made for a natural progression into teaching yoga. She started off pursuing the theatre, and somewhere along the way, it seemed yoga pursued her. A girl loves to be chased. Now she is living the dream, teaching yoga in Los Angeles. There may be just as many yoga teachers in LA as actors nowadays, but the competition only brings a higher quality of teacher to the table, or class.
Eden is a skilled private and group instructor serving all people at all fitness levels. Eden’s several yoga certifications have currently led her to a focus on the Anusara inspired style. You will find her classes rooted strongly in alignment and healing principles, with detailed instruction in asanas (postures), pranyama (breath work), and meditation technique, for all levels of practitioners. From first time yogis, to the more experienced, Eden’s classes provide options for personal growth in a nurturing environment. She enjoys guiding her class to an improved state of being, based on their specific needs and abilities. Laughter and questions are encouraged from all her students, and of course, a little dramatic flair.

Yoga is not meant to be perfect, it is meant to initiate growth and change. It is called yoga "practice" for just that reason. I encourage gathering your friends, family members, or coworkers and setting a regular schedule to practice with me. In a one on one setting or small group, I will be able to focus on your specific needs and goals, physically or otherwise. In today’s busy world, allow me to bring yoga to you. By bringing yoga into your home, or work place you are eliminating one of the excuses for not practicing. You are allowing yourself to move more rapidly towards your personal goals.
